I highly recommend an Organized move. They helped move my parents into the Glenridge Assisted Living in Sarasota. The move went very well under a stressful situation as I was moving my parents who weren't ready emotionally to make this big change but needed the assisted living. It is important to note that this all happened immediately after the two devestating Hurricanes that hit Sarasota. Lynn the owner was very hands on with my Mom who was very stressed with the move. Lynn connected incredibly well with my mom and helped her choose the things that were important to her and showed her diginity and respect. Nobody wants to move into a small space but Lynn helped my mom move the things that were important to her. Again with dignity and respect! Thank you for all your help Lynn and Conner!

Marvelous MoveWe hired An Organized Move to move my parents from their home in Rotonda West to their new community at Aston Gardens in Venice. From the get-go, Lynn was on top of everything. While she was on my short list for quotes, my folks actually attended a moving seminar she put on at Aston Gardens about moving to a smaller place!We decided to go with An Organized Move because they could pack, move and unpack for parents, taking away a lot of the stress that is inherent in any move. And while these concierge services are extra, they partly pay for themselves because AOM use their own reusable crates instead of us having to buy boxes and tape (you still need packing material!).On the move days, Lynn’s crew, who are all employees if her company, showed up with the truck (also owned by the company) on time and ready to go. We had 4 guys moving my folks from their 3-bedroom house to the two-bedroom apartment. Because an Organized Move had done this many times before, they knew what to expect at Aston Gardens and reserved the elevator for the move. The team was great in unpacking as well as packing. The three small things which did not survive the move were in boxes Mom insisted on packing before the move.It was great having Lynn share her expertise with my folks. This came in very handy when we were trying to get them to narrow down what they really needed in their smaller space verses what they wanted. A difficult process for anybody, but it was great having Lynn help us with that. Sometimes an outside voice helps to convince the unsettled.And, since you are wondering, the quote was right in line with the other quotes I got from similar local companies focusing on seniors. But the value was much more!I would whole heartily recommend an An Organized Move to anyone looking to move their parents. I would like to use them myself if we were to move!

If you are looking for a mover in the Venice/Sarasota area in or out you HAVE to go with An Organized Move. Connor and his team are out of this world fabulous. We used them about a month ago right after the Hurricane and they were, to say the least, amazing. They were able to get all our flooded items to the dump and helped moved our saved items into our new home AND set it all up within a few hours. Such a stress relief during a stressful time. Art and Sam moved 3 bedrooms of furniture out so we could have new LVP flooring installed. Conner arranged for them to come and put it back the day after the installation. We are very happy with the care that was given in taking some of the furniture apart and moving everything. The guys were very nice and respectful. Unbelievable they did all this work in one hour!! We highly recommend Organized Move and would definitely use them again if needed.

Rob and Art moved my parents from one floor and apartment to another within Aston Gardens. They were great! Packed up and placed everything back exactly as it was, mounted televisions (and re-moved a couple things as we changed our minds about arrangement). They were friendly, personable, and professional. Moving is stressful enough, now try easing the mind of a senior, well that's exactly what Lynn and Connor and their entire team do, they ease the minds of these families. I can't tell you how many times I get calls after An Organized Move, moves my families, and they rave to me about how amazing they were. An Organized Move far exceeds my expectations and my families expectations, from start to finish. An Organized Move will allow you to sit back and breath while they strategically plan everything out for you. They will come and take time to ask you what your wants and needs are. THEY LISTEN !!! From that point they then work what I can only call," Their Magic"........! They don't just pack you up and move you and drop your stuff off, NO, they unpack you, hang your pictures, Mirrors, color coordinate your clothes, put your cotton balls in jars, fluff your pillows, fold and put away your sheets, clothes, whatever it may be. They will assemble your furniture..... Whatever it takes to get the job done, and done RIGHT! When they are finished you not only feel like the burden of moving has been lifted but you feel as if you are HOME. After many many moves finally a company I feel did everything they promised, plus more. On time, took extreme care with furniture and goods, packed and unpacked me all while I was still under restrictions from heart surgery. What a great experience. From the start Connor and his team were very professional. We had an issue with having to change the date four days before our scheduled move day and he was able to quickly give options and rescheduled it. Price was extremely competitive and amazing how professional and fast they were. They packed the entire kitchen & some wardrobe items very quickly, but took care of breakable items. We moved our 80+ yr old parents and they were very polite and helpful with everything. It's great having a local independent business that does such a great job. I would highly recommend using them for your moves in the Sarasota area.
